On a sunny August afternoon in Tallinn, we shot this portfolio photo session with Gerli. Even though it was summer, the temperature wasn’t very high (by Italian standards), and there was a nice, not-too-strong wind to move the model’s clothes a bit.
We found this sort of brutalist architectural structure right by the sea; inside, there was the right contrast between sun and light, a great setting for black-and-white photos.
For this session, I used the 85mm f/1.4 from Samsung on the Samsung NX-200 mirrorless camera—a lens that delivers pleasant tonal rendering and creamy bokeh.
