To celebrate my 30th birthday in a great way, I planned a trip with my friend Andrea. We decided to leave at the beginning of August to visit Northern European countries.
Our first stops were Vilnius and Riga. Vilnius is a bit smaller than Riga and looks a bit more neoclassical, with a great church in the city center in that style. In Riga, the weather wasn’t great, so we couldn’t appreciate the historical center as much as we did in Vilnius.
We had rented a car in Vilnius so we could easily move from one country to another and enjoy the scenic Baltic drive between the cities.
