Defustel Ndjoko menswear portrait Pitti Uomo 91 Florence Fujifilm X-T2 cover shot

Today I want to show you the photos I shot for Mr. Defustel. Defustel Ndjoko is an Afro-Belgian influencer and fashion consultant who has been attending Pitti Uomo for some years. I had the pleasure of starting to collaborate with him for the photos some years ago. It is always a pleasure to work with him: an example of elegance outside and inside.

Technically, I took these pictures with my Fujifilm equipment: it was the first time I used the new X-T2, which arrived just a few days before the event. So for me, it was a great baptism for the camera, since it worked hard all week. I have to say that the jump in speed and responsiveness from the X-T1 is amazing. The power grip (that I did not have on my previous X-T1) adds very good general handling.

Moreover, the possibility of having a total of three batteries in the camera is very welcome since we know that battery drain is one of the weaknesses of mirrorless systems compared to DSLRs. With the power grip on the X-T2, I could easily do a full day without worries. I was very amazed by it.

Some of the outfits that Mr. Defustel wore in these photos during the 91st edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence:

1 — Black hat: Cambiaghi.
2 — Purple hat: Monsieur London.
3 — Glasses: Mondelliani.
4 — Suits and coat: Tombolini.
5 — Shoes: Roberto Botticelli.
