Mary portrait Florence Leica M9 75mm Summicron 35mm Summilux cover shot

On the roads of Florence, doing some portrait photography with Mary. In this photo session, I used a Leica M9 camera with the Leica 75mm Summicron f/2.

I found the Leica 75mm f/2 Summicron lens to be great. I also had the opportunity to test the Leica 35mm Summilux, another amazing, great-value lens; it was already amazingly sharp at f/1.4.

The Leica camera is a unique universe, starting from pure manual focus through the telemeter (rangefinder). I thought I wouldn’t be able to get enough good shots, but I have to say the manual focus system is very intuitive once you get used to it.
