Rotterdam is the city where I lived for some years during my internship in the Netherlands, back in 2009. The city is quite new all around since it was almost completely destroyed after the Second World War bombing. In this way, Rotterdam was rebuilt in a new modern style: the city looks quite different from any other Dutch city.
Here you can find new modern skyscrapers, new futuristic buildings such as the new central market, and interesting squares. I love the fact that in Rotterdam they are still changing a lot in the city: besides the new central market, Rotterdam also recently got a new central station that — architecturally speaking — is quite amazing. And all the new area around the central station is very interesting for the new architectural buildings that are appearing.
Equipment used during this trip: Fujifilm X-Pro2 with the 10-22mm f/4.0 lens.
