A master perfumer photographed in his own atelier, deep in the historic heart of Florence. This editorial was commissioned by NoChaser Magazine, capturing Sileno Cheloni at work among the scents and rituals of his craft.

NoChaser Magazine commissioned Alessandro Michelazzi for this editorial feature on Maestro Profumiere Sileno Cheloni. Stepping into his Florence workshop feels like travelling through time — every corner recalls an alchemist preparing a bespoke formula rather than a modern studio. During the shoot, Sileno performed an incense ritual as part of his process, filling the dark-toned interiors with slow-moving smoke. The result is a quiet, editorial portrait of craft, patience and scent.
