Bonollo
A journey of taste through Venice and Florence
A four-day taste journey through Venice and Florence for Bonollo’s Gra’it grappa — golden rooftop views of the Duomo, gondola-lined canals, and the quiet ritual of a rose, a key, and a perfectly poured cocktail.
Alessandro Michelazzi Studio was commissioned by Bonollo to shoot a four-day lifestyle campaign for Gra’it, a grappa crafted for the U.S. market and bottled to a design inspired by a 16th-century alchemist’s drawing. The story unfolds across Venice and Florence: models pose with the bottle along the Grand Canal’s gondola docks and share a cocktail inside the historic Caffè Florian, while a bartender pours Gra’it behind the bar. We visited Venini’s historic foundry, where a glass maestro showcased how iconic glass objects are made.
In Florence, the campaign moves from the iconic view from Piazzale Michelangelo’s terrace overlooking the Duomo to the gardens of a hillside villa, with a rose and an antique key recurring as symbols of the alchemist’s ritual throughout.
