Holland, a trip back to the roots: visiting Rotterdam and Scheveningen

Holland will always have a special place in my heart: I did my university internship there, and I still have many very good friends there.

On the occasion of my visit to Germany for the Photokina exhibition, I also had the chance to spend some days in the Netherlands. In Rotterdam, I visited places where I lived some years ago, and I met with my Italian friend Stefano, who lives there and works at a popular ice cream shop in the center, serving fantastic gelato to the locals.

I also spent a day in Scheveningen, the beach town near Den Haag, where I did my internship in the studio of photographer Gerrit Schreurs—a place full of memories for me.
