A historic Italian design house photographed inside its own glass foundry on Murano, Venice — where every piece still begins as molten glass in a Maestro’s hands.

It was quite an experience to photograph inside the Venini foundry on Murano, Venice. Alessandro Michelazzi was commissioned for this editorial by issue 7 of NoChaser Magazine, following the Maestri at work with molten glass, from its raw form to the finished product. It is remarkable to watch each piece come to life through a mastery passed down across generations in the glass district of Murano.
